PRE-KINDERGARTEN

The pre-kindergarten years are the perfect time to see if your family is called to homeschool long term! At NSCA they’ll be with their instructor Tuesday/Thursday from 8:45 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. in a loving, learning environment that teaches godly principles. They will also join Kindergarten-1st Grade for some very fun activities like feasts and special days of celebration. They will be working on their pre-k skills with you at home while enjoying more practice while they are with us. Pre-kindergarten students must turn four (4) by August 15.

KINDERGARTEN AND 1ST GRADE

In K-1 our students will spend most of the day with their homeroom instructors, while also visiting other instructors for different subjects of study. We seek to use hands-on games, activities, and songs to help our kids explore God’s magnificent creation and learn about “His-story” throughout the past. Kindergarten students must turn five (5) by August 15.

We will focus on:

  • Science

  • History

  • Creator’s Writing

WHAT SHOULD I DO AT HOME?

Most of your time at home will be spent on Math, Reading, Handwriting, and Phonics. Parents are welcome to choose the curriculum for these subjects.

Through play and hands-on activities, and we will cover:

  • Science

  • History

  • Creator’s Writing/Art

  • Letter of the Day (handwriting)
