PRE-K-1ST

PRE-KINDERGARTEN

The pre-kindergarten years are the perfect time to see if your family is called to homeschool long term! At NSCA students are with their instructor Tuesday/Thursday from 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in a loving, learning environment that teaches godly principles. They also join Kindergarten-1st Grade for some very fun activities like feasts and special days of celebration. While working on their pre-k skills at home, they'll enjoy lots of practice at NSCA. Pre-K students must turn four (4) by August 15.

KINDERGARTEN AND 1ST GRADE

In K-1 our students spend about half of the day with their homeroom instructor and the other half with the other K-1 instructors for different subjects of study (see below). We use hands-on games and activities to help our kids explore God’s magnificent creation and see His hand at work in history. Kindergarten students must turn five (5) by August 15.

We will cover:

  • Science

  • History

  • Art

  • Fine motor and critical thinking skills, letter and number recognition, shapes, etc.

WHAT DO PARENTS COVER AT HOME?

Our values permeate everything from lab work, to group activities, to social events.
